Making the Most of Your Time in the Cancun Airport Lounges

At times, even getting to the Cancun Airport can be a bit stressful, especially with the ongoing construction on the major highway leading into the airport causing delays. While transportation companies buffer their transfer times to accommodate these delays, it often means travelers find themselves arriving at the airport with ample time to spare before their flights. Cancun Airport Lounges Terminal 2
Mera Business Lounge
- Location: Terminal 2 After Security, take the escalators on the right-hand side towards Gate A. The Lounge is located behind the escalators. Scheduled flight departures only.
- Hours: Open daily from 6:30am until 9:00pm.
- How to access: $33 USD Per Person. You may have access depending on your class of ticket when traveling with Air Europa. Access is also offered to American Express Platinum cardholders and those with Dragon Pass membership.
- Children: Under 2 years are admitted free.
The Lounge by Global Lounge Network
- Location: Terminal 2, After Security, proceed left and take the escalator to the 2nd Floor. Pass the Duty-Free Shops and the lounge is located on the left-hand side.
- Hours: Open daily from 6:00am until the last departure flight.
- Cost: Access from $30.
- How to access: Available for Priority Pass members. Access is also offered to those with Lounge Key membership and select Diners Club cardholders.
Cancun Airport Lounges Terminal 3
Airlines that depart out of terminal 3:
Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Spirit Airlines United Airlines
Mera Business Lounge
- Location: Terminal 3 After Security, exit the Duty-Free Shop and turn right towards the ‘Bubba Gump’ restaurant. Turn right to the end of the hall where a sign will indicate the entrance to the lounge.
- Hours: Open daily from 6:30am until 9:00pm
- How to access: $33 USD Per Person. You may have access depending on your class of ticket when traveling with British Airways or Air Europa. Access is also offered to American Express Platinum cardholders and those with Dragon Pass membership
- Children: Under 2 years are admitted free.
The Lounge
- Location: Located in Terminal 3 (Outside Security). Enter the airport through the main door. Turn right and walk to the end of the hallway. Note that this lounge is only accessible for passengers departing on international flights from Terminal 3.
- Hours: Open 24/7
- How to access: Available for Priority Pass members. Access is also offered to those with Lounge Key membership and select Diners Club cardholders.
- Children: One child under 12 years can be admitted free with an adult.
Cancun Airport Lounges Terminal 4
Airlines that depart out of Terminal 4:
Southwest, Aeromexico, Frontier Airlines, Jetblue Airways, Sun Country Airlines
Mera Business Lounge International
- Location: Terminal 4, After Security Checks, on the Ground Floor, next to Pineda Covalin boutique and in front of boarding gate 76A, Access is only available to passengers departing on international flights.
- Hours: Open daily from 6:30am until 9:00pm
- How to access: $33 USD Per Person. You may have access depending on your class of ticket when traveling with Air France or KLM. Access is also offered to American Express Platinum cardholders and those with Dragon Pass membership.
- Children: Under 2 years are admitted free.
The Lounge in Partnership with Air Transat
- Location: Terminal 4. After Security Checks, proceed through the Duty-Free Shops towards the Boarding Gate Area. From Gate 54, turn left and go down the elevator or stairs to the Ground Level where you will find the entrance to the lounge.
- Hours: Open 24/7
- How to access: Available for Priority Pass members. Access is also offered to those with Lounge Key membership and select Diners Club cardholders.
- Children: One child under 12 years can be admitted free with an adult.
