We’ll answer guests’ endless questions about how to book a room, the best airport transportation method, how to get to the hotel… the list goes on.
When working with J.Upton Travel, you don’t have to worry about travel-related questions. We serve as the guest’s main point-of-contact for all travel.. We’re here to provide them with guidance and advice each step of the way.
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
We’ll start with a phone consultation to discuss their vision, priorities, and any specific preferences. Based on this conversation, we’ll provide destination recommendations that match their style and wedding goals, making it easier for them to choose the perfect location.
We assist both you and the couple in selecting the ideal destination and resort for their wedding. We’ll guide them through the contracting process and help secure the room block for their guests. Additionally, we provide full support for the guests, including booking rooms, arranging flights and transportation, handling payments, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
If your clients choose to host their wedding onsite at the resort, we’ll help them secure the event space. Once the venue is booked, we’ll introduce both of you to the hotel’s dedicated wedding coordinator, who will collaborate with you to finalize all the wedding details.
While some travel agencies may not charge a fee, they often focus on recommending resorts that offer the highest commissions, typically working with 50-100 couples each year. At J.Upton Travel, we take a more personalized approach, limiting ourselves to just a dozen couples annually. This enables us to provide focused, high-quality service, respond promptly to your questions, and guide you and your guests every step of the way with honesty and care.
Yes! We strongly recommend travel insurance for both the couple and their guests. We can provide quotes and help everyone select the best coverage to ensure peace of mind before, during, and after the trip.

Let me let you in on a little secret…
Prior to starting J.Upton Travel, I owned and operated a wedding planning business for over a decade. Just like you, I helped hundreds of couples plan and design their wedding in destinations domestically and internationally.
And even before that, over 10 years ago (I’m dating myself here), my husband and I also had a destination wedding in Mexico. So I understand the destination wedding planning process from both a planner and Bride’s perspective. Although I’ve retired my wedding planning hat, I have leveraged my experience to help planners just like you to navigate the process of finding the best host hotel and helping your clients manage their guests travel arrangements.
